Hey and welcome to my blog!

Hey guys! My name is Lily and I created this blog - flower delivery - as a place where I can share my thoughts and feelings - just little things that people may not necessarily care about, but things that are nice to write down and get off your chest. I'm not saying this is going to be a depressing blog - no! - I am not a depressive person! I am very optimistic and have a good outlook on life; I enjoy the small things and am grateful for being who I am and being in the situation I am. I believe more people should be like this! There is a quote from a song I once heard (the name eludes me at the moment) that goes "how hard is it to decide to be in a good mood and then just be in a good mood?". How fantastic is that? I think it's incredibly accurate; we control our emotions: anybody who wants to be happy will be happy (have you noticed how some of the happiest people you meet have been through a lot of bad times? Yet their positive outlook on life means they can be happy, despite anything that has happened to them).

Ha! The ramblings have begun. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad sign! Sometimes it is just so easy to write and write but what you write doesn't necessarily make a lot of sense to anybody but yourself. I guess that is what a personal blog is for, though. To basically write to yourself and if anybody is interested - they can read it! If not, well no loss for either party.

Anyway, a bit about me. Unfortunately, that is not me in the picture to the left, it's Zooey Deschanel, one of my favourite actresses and in my opinion one of the most beautiful women in the world today. She has that sweet, natural look about her which I adore. I do look a little like her, blue eyes, dark hair, fairly pale complexion, but I am nowhere near as attractive as she is. But, alas!- I am comfortable with who I am and confident nonetheless!

I am 18 years old and just about to start at Jersey City Art school. I am naturally quite artistic (I'm left handed - go figure) and so I have always wanted to get involved with something artistic. However, what I actually plan to do when I finish my course is to go into Floristry. I would like to use my artistic skills to design and create beautiful bouquets of different flowers and perhaps one day open up my own florist so I can design, arrange and deliver my own personal bouquets and flower arrangements. Not your standard dream job but, hey, I'm not your standard girl!
